We hosted a group of 13 participants at alma-nac, a design-led studio in Waterloo, for an engaging portfolio workshop. The session began with a presentation on the studio’s recent projects, offering insight into their design approach, processes, and creative solutions. Following the presentation, participants split into small groups to present their portfolios, receiving personalised feedback from the studio team. This intimate format encouraged discussion, reflection, and constructive critique, helping attendees refine their work and presentation skills. The combination of project inspiration and one-to-one mentoring provided participants with practical guidance and confidence as they navigated the next steps in their careers.
