Architecture is a collaborative field, yet many graduates experience isolated studio learning and limited exposure to the multi-disciplinary nature of practice. Networking is often seen as reserved for senior professionals. In this Open Studio, we challenged these norms by partnering with Arcadis’ architecture team to mentor Part 1 and Part 2 graduates actively seeking the right practice for them. The event combined small group feedback sessions, where participants received personalised guidance on portfolios and career approaches, with light networking opportunities to connect with professionals. The session provided practical advice, mentorship, and industry insight, helping graduates navigate the transition from university to practice.
