Collaboration is central to the design industry, yet many young professionals find the transition from university to practice lacks guidance and support. Open Studio aims to bridge this gap by opening studios across London and inviting a select group of emerging architects to receive mentorship, advice, and portfolio feedback. This session was hosted at HKS Architects, where participants had the opportunity to explore the studio environment, learn about ongoing projects, and gain insight into professional practice. Through presentations, discussions, and personalised feedback, attendees were able to build confidence, refine their work, and better understand the steps required to qualify as an architect.
