It’s that time of year where you’re probably wondering how to get the architecture job you’re looking for. If, like me, you’ve just graduated from architecture school, you’re starting to think about the next step in your career.
The most daunting part for any university graduate is, well, graduating and looking for a job. Although this doesn’t have to be the next step, this is typically the direction in which you would head in after completing your undergraduate degree.
About six years ago I started working at an architecture practice as a Part 2 at a big London practice.
When I started senior year, I decided to pursue a master’s of architecture right after graduation. I started hunting down the tests I need to take, the list of universities that I could apply for, the programs available, and whether I should apply for a scholarship. All the planning went steady for a while until the pandemic hit.
